In September 2008m, members of the Glendale Baptist Church youth present their "Peace With Cuba" Globall Call to Action to Iranian human rights lawyer Shirin Ebadi, recipient of the 2003 Nobel Peace Prize.

Glendale Youth, as participants in the PeaceJam conference in Los Angeles, presented their Peace With Cuba Global Call to Action Plan in September, 2008.
