On February 22, 2009, members of the Glendale Baptist Church youth group presented the Peace with Cuba Global Call to Action plan to over 300 participants at the regional PeaceJam conference in Memphis, Tennessee. 1997 Nobel laureate Jody Williams was the conference speaker.
